Thirty-two members of a wedding party were killed when the vehicle plunged into a gorge in northern India, ITAR-TASS reports.

According to a local Superintendent of Police Madhu Sudan, a mini truck Tata 40 carrying 35 to 40 people fell into a 300-metre-deep gorge near the Chamera dam, RIA Novosti reports.

The accident causes are unclear. According to a police official, the accident spot has been experiencing continuous rainfall for the last two days.

In a separate accident on Wednesday, seven people died when their SUV rolled into another gorge in the same area.
