The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia has addressed prosecutors to examine the applications of citizens sounding the alarm about bribes demanded from them, reports the news service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, according to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The two applications addressed to the ministry concern the unfaithful work of the inspectors of territorial support division #1 of Gyumri.

According to the applicants, the inspectors demanded the amount of benefits of two months for designating benefits to the citizens. Moreover, the name of the inspector is specified in one of the applications.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia will, as prescribed by law, process all similar alarms to rule out corruption risks in the sector and protect the rights of citizens.
