A thief managed to steal $238,000 from an aircraft after crawling through the bathroom to access the cargo hold.

A passenger of an aircraft heading from Guadeloupe to the island of Saint Martin suddenly felt bad during the 40-minute flight and locked away in the toilet, Russian Globalist website reports.

He managed to remove wall panels and enter the hold where $1.6 million was transported.

He spent nearly 40 minutes in the lavatory and went out just before the airplane landed. The man even asked a flight attendant to call an ambulance.  Later he said he felt fine and escaped.

The police has not caught the criminal yet.
