Official visit of Armenian president to Latvia, agreements reached by the leaders are very important for bilateral relations, said foreign minister Edward Nalbandian.

In the course of a meeting with his Latvian counterpart Valdis Kristovskis, Nalbandian discussed wide range of issues related to development of bilateral ties, intensification of cooperation in the international agencies, consultations between the foreign ministries.

Edward Nalbandian and Valdis Kristovskis also touched upon Armenia-EU relations, discussed cooperation possibilities within the Eastern Partnership project and European Neighborhood Policy, foreign office informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Armenian FM invited his Latvian counterpart to visit Armenia.
