Seven people are accused of raping a woman in Turkey. During the trial the defendants’ explanations surprised those present in the courtroom. They justified their deed by the fact that the woman was a socialist and a member of the women’s union. The court adjourned the meeting once again, Turkish Birgun website reports.

Following the meeting, the court began a hearing on charges of two teenagers in the same case for a rape, which was held behind closed doors.
