A new opposition force similar in format to the Armenian National Congress (ANC) is not difficult to form. The question is, however, what is the sense of doing it, Razmik Zohrabyan, a member of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), told journalists as he commented on the rumors about a new opposition force.

“If the potential for forming a new political force is available, it is all right. However, if this tendency goes on, each citizen of small Armenia will soon be a member of several political forces,” Zohrabyan said. It does not matter to the RPA whether a new opposition force is formed or not. The RPA is already tired of the existing opposition forces, and new ones are not needed at all, Zohrabyan said.
