YEREVAN. - The Chorrord Ishkhanutyun (The Fourth Estate) newspaper reports that the residents of one of the buildings in Ashtarak are indignant at the gross violation of their rights by the local authorities.

According to the newspaper, Bagrat Margaryan, a former policeman and currently a lawyer for the local water-supply authorities, is implementing a large-scale construction project under the auspices of city Mayor Gagik Tamazyan.

Gagik Tamazyan is cousin of RA Deputy Prosecutor General Aram Tamazyan. The local residents say that members of the RA Presidential Control Service arrived at the site and banned the construction. However, it was resumed after they left.
