YEREVAN. - Mother of a two-year-old girl found on February 21 in the courtyard of the Yerevan St. Sargis church has been identified.

The girl was taken to the Nork orphanage in Yerevan. Medical examination revealed that the baby suffers from rickets, softening of bones, and has nervous system problems.

Police officers managed to identify the mother, who abandoned the child, - 23-year-old Sarah G. - and her daughter Amina born in 2009, police press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. Further details are yet unclear.
