YEREVAN. - The Armenian opposition is trying to get political dividends speculating on social problems of population, MP from the ruling Republican Party Gagik Melikyan said at a press conference on Friday.
However, he stressed that the opposition does not succeed, because people cherish their hopes with forces which not only point to existing problems, but try to solve them.
“The opposition talks and does not propose precise solutions to existing problems, while the authorities develop real programs to improve situation in the country,” said Melikyan.
Speaking about Friday’s opposition rally, Melikyan predicted that it will be less crowded because people are already tired of frequent and fruitless protests. He also considers "absurd" opposition’s claims about early elections.
