Deputy Ministers of Justice of Armenia Rafik Grigoryan and Kristinne Grigoryan yesterday received the delegation led by Senior Economist at the World Bank Migara de Silva.

During the meeting, the parties touched upon the introduction and modernization of several electronic toolkits envisaged in the context of the Strategy on Judicial and Legal Reforms and the Anti-Corruption Strategy. They particularly discussed issues related to the vision for the new electronic declaration system and the terms of reference.

Deputy Minister Kristinne Grigoryan informed the delegation that the ministry is also working closely with the newly elected Commission for the Prevention of Corruption to modernize the electronic declaration system.

The parties also touched upon the modernization of the electronic database of legal acts, and First Deputy Minister Rafik Grigoryan emphasized that modernization of the electronic database will help prevent the repetitive processes of undertaking legislative initiatives.

Several issues related to the introduction of electronic toolkits in the criminal justice sector were also discussed during the meeting.
