Georgia expects to receive three times more tourists from Armenia in 2011 as compared to previous year.

Georgia’s Black Sea resorts hosted 50,000 tourists last year, Business Georgia reports. Basically they came to the country by railway. In this regard, leadership of railway transport started active preparation for a new tourist season.

In particular, Yerevan-Batumi-Yerevan fast train will be operated every day from June 15 to September 30. There will be also another Yerevan-Batumi-Yerevan train which will run twice a week.

Representatives of customs and border services from two countries plan to meet prior to May 15 to discuss key issues.
