YEREVAN. - Georgian Minister of Defense Bacho Akhalaya avoided the question why his country does not recognize the Armenian Genocide.
Speaking at a joint press conference with his Armenian counterpart Seyran Ohanyan, Akhalaya said the issue was not discussed during meeting with Armenian defense minister.
“We condole with the Armenian people. Your pain is close to the Georgian people,” he said.
