YEREVAN. - It is the third day since the US Dollar has shown high-rate depreciation on NASDAQ OMX Armenia.

On April 22, the average AMD/USD exchange rate was AMD 373.75/$1 against AMD 375/$1 on Apr. 21 - 0.33% US Dollar depreciation.  

The opening quotation was AMD 374.25/$1. However, no demand was registered.

Later, sales totaled $2.45 million.

Exchange offices purchased US Dollars at lower exchange rates, without, however, reducing the exchange rate for sale.  By 4:00 p.m., local time, banks had purchased US Dollars at an exchange rate of AMD 373/$1 and sold at AMD 376/$1.
