U.S. may temporarily close a number of embassies after the killing of al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden.
State Department issued a statement saying there was an enhanced potential for anti-American violence given recent counter-terrorism activity in Pakistan.
The embassies and consulates may temporarily close or suspend services, the statement reads.
