The Police of Armenia have instituted a criminal case in relation to the release of the names of the 132 people who died from the coronavirus and other personal data of the deceased, as reported the news service of the Police, adding that the criminal case has been instituted under a particular article of the Criminal Code of Armenia (illegally gathering, keeping, using or disseminating personal information or information about family life).
On June 2, during regular monitoring conducted by police officers on the Internet, it was established that a Facebook user by the name of “Zndan” had attached to a released article photocopies of the lists of names, last names, fathers’ names, dates of birth, dates of death and addressees of the 132 people who had died from the coronavirus and the medical institutions where they had died.
