Lifting of visa regime will become inevitable at the next stage of Georgia-U.S. relations, said Georgia’s ambassador to Washington Temur Yakobashvili.
He commented on the decision of the U.S. government to increase the maximum period provided for visas for multiple visits of the Georgian citizens to 5 and 10 years.
“We have achieved unprecedented success. Washington’s next step will be lifting of visa regime,” he told the journalists, Russian RBK reports.
