The Armenian community in Cyprus will go on pilgrimage to Saint Makar Monastery.

The medieval church is situated on the slope of Kyrenia mountain range.

The annual pilgrimage, held on May 8, is organized by joint efforts of Armenia’s Representation in Cyprus, led by Vardges Mahdesyan and Armenian Prelature of Cyprus. Archbishop Varuzhan Ergelyan will conduct a religious service, www.FinancialMirror.com reports.
