Chief specialist of the Department of Information and Public Relations of the regional governor’s office of Shirak Province of Armenia Araks Kirakosyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am that, at this moment, 1,073 citizens are self-isolated at home, 220 of them have COVID-19, but are asymptomatic, and they are under the supervision of primary health maintenance specialists.

As of June 21 at 11:30, 78 patients with COVID-19 are undergoing treatment at the infection hospital in Gyumri, and 71 of them are residents of Shirak Province. To this day, 231 residents of Shirak Province have recovered from COVID-19 and been discharged from the hospital, 33 patients have been transported to Yerevan, and 15 patients have died.
