A huge and tragic car accident took place in Armenia’s Shirak Province today, Shamshyan.com reports.

At around 7 p.m. a resident of the Ashotsk region of Shirak Province curved off the road and rolled into a field in unknown circumstances with his VAZ-21099 car.

As a result of the car accident, a 7-year-old died on the spot, and 9 people were transferred to the Austrian Child and Mother Hospital in Gyumri.

Police officers have arrived at the scene by the assignment of Head of the Shirak Regional Police Department Sasun Abaghyan.
