Democratic Party candidate Joe Biden has received 227 votes, while Republican Party candidate and incumbent Donald Trump received 204 votes, according to the interim results of the presidential election held in the United States on Tuesday. Both candidates already have more than half of the 270 votes needed to win, Fox News reported.

Trump won in Florida where this victory gave the candidate 29 votes—more than in any other swing state. He also has an advantage in Ohio (18). The latter has a special significance because in the history of the country, no Republican presidential candidate has managed to win the elections if he has not gone ahead in this state.

Biden took the lead in the swing state of Arizona (11 votes).

Outcome is not yet known in the following swing states: Pennsylvania (20), Michigan (16), Georgia (16), North Carolina (15), Minnesota (10), Wisconsin (10), Iowa (6), and Nevada (6). According to Fox News calculation, Biden now has an advantage among them only in Minnesota.

Trump has already won expectedly victories particularly in Texas, Kansas, North and South Dakota, West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee.

Biden also has achieved expected wins in a number of states including California, New York, Washington, Oregon, Vermont, Illinois, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, as well as in the District of Columbia.
