YEREVAN. – In 2021, it is planned to allocate 683 million 877 thousand drams to the Constitutional Court of Armenia for the implementation of two measures. Samvel Arakelyan, the acting Chief of Staff of the Constitutional Court, said this during the debates on the 2021 draft budget at Wednesday’s joint meeting of the Standing Committees on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs and on State and Legal Affairs of the National Assembly.
Arakelyan mentioned that 89.3 percent of the aforementioned funds will be used for the payment of salaries of the employees of the Constitutional Court.
Moreover, the funding of the Constitutional Court will be reduced by 23.222 million drams as compared to 2020.
