YEREVAN. – In 2021, it was planned to allocate 17 billion 516 million 713 thousand drams for the needs of the Supreme Judicial Council of Armenia, but the government later made a decision to reduce this funding by 5.5 billion drams. Karen Poladyan, Head of the Judicial Department of the Supreme Judicial Council, said this during the debates on the 2021 draft budget at Wednesday’s joint meeting of the Standing Committees on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs and on State and Legal Affairs of the National Assembly.
Thus, next year 12 billion 128 million 719 thousand drams will be allocated for the expenses of the Supreme Judicial Council.
These funds will be fully directed to the implementation of only one program, which consists of 21 measures.
