YEREVAN. – In 2021, it is planned to allocate 20 billion 663 million 985 thousand drams for the needs of the Ministry of Justice of Armenia. Justice minister Rustam Badasyan stated this during the debates on the 2021 draft budget at Wednesday’s joint meeting of the Standing Committees on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs and on State and Legal Affairs of the National Assembly.
Next year, as compared to 2020, additional 3 billion 34 million 436 thousand drams will be allocated to the Ministry.
About 2 billion drams of these funds will be directed to the fight against corruption—that is, to the form of the anticorruption committee—as well as to the construction and technical equipment of specialized court buildings.
