YEREVAN. – In 2021, it is planned to allocate 27.9 billion drams for the needs of the Ministry of Health, as compared to the 27.1 billion drams in 2020. The Minister of Health, Arsen Torosyan, stated about this during the debates on the 2021 draft budget at Monday’s joint meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committees on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs and on Health Care and Social Affairs.

At the same time, according to the minister, given the coronavirus cases and the ongoing war, they had expected a significantly higher increase in spending on health needs, but this increase is insignificant.
