After the end of hostilities in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), we will be mainly focused on rehabilitative therapy. This is what Minister of Health of Armenia Arsen Torosyan said in response to deputies’ questions during today’s question-and-answer session with government officials in parliament.

According to him, wounded and severely wounded soldiers have been admitted due to the end of hostilities.

“In this regard, there is still a lot of work to do, even though a lot has been done over the past few years in terms of government funding and the creation of new opportunities through the implementation of various initiatives,” the minister said and stressed that the Ministry of Health will fully use all of its funds and resources to help wounded servicemen get back on track.

“We need to hold training courses for professionals and modernize several buildings,” he explained, adding that the Ministry of Health needs to establish an additional and rather large rehabilitation center with 250 beds.
