The government, and Nikol Pashinyan, personally, who made Armenia become defeated with a capitulation, humiliating agreement, deprived the Armenian people of pride and dignity, are trying their best and at all costs to prolong the ruins of their own power. ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party Supreme Body member Lilit Galstyan told this to Armenian News-NEWS.am, referring to the authorities' efforts to silence the opposition during the two-month state of martial law in Armenia.

"The government, which has betrayed our national interests, does not stop at anything on that path. Of course, it is unpromising to expect a moral step from the Prime Minister, who humiliated the Armenian people in this way and caused our statehood to collapse, disgracefully failing on the diplomatic, political, and military fronts. Instead of resigning, Nikol resorts to politically repressive tools. Representatives of not only the Dashnaktsutyun, but also other political opposition forces’ representatives were persecuted. But these are doomed steps…we will not be recoiled; our agenda is the imperative of saving the statehood."

According to her, the government's steps to silence the opposition, including the ARF representatives, are ridiculous and bare.

"They are mainly trying to silence [us] by accusing us of organizing illegal rallies. Some members of the ARF Supreme Body were first apprehended on this charge, then the imagination and mental disorder of the clients reached such a level that they tried to accuse of assassination attempt. But it was all so clearly sewn with red thread, a joke that it fell like a sand tower within hours. And it is good that, nevertheless, contrary to the order of the main lunatic, the judicial system remains in its professional domain, and our friends and other opposition figures were released by a court decision.

Now the authorities are trying to hide their fears and worries by martial law, but this will not last long. This joke will one day end. Today, the government in Armenia is already paralyzed, unable to act. Every day of their existence is a disaster. All of this, including the defeat and capitulation, must definitely be legally assessed. The name of what happened is betrayal, violation of the constitutional order, arbitrary illegal action," she said.

According to Lilit Galstyan, the ARF figures have been the target of "fake attacks" all this time. "The factory of fakes is the birth of this government, the main generator of the atmosphere of hatred and enmity in the country, leading to the demoralization of the country. The ARF, as a national ideological force, was the target of these rogue, stateless scoundrels. It was very clear that everything that was national was targeted, which was able to unite a type that nurtured a national image and national aspirations. They consistently crushed the internal resistance of the country, an atmosphere of hostility and intolerance towards the national political force had to be sown.

But, as you can see, this evil has already been exposed…their lives are short; unfortunately, we paid a very high price. These scoundrels deprived us of our homeland."

And to the question what the government is trying to achieve with these steps, Lilit Galstyan responded: "The state has lost, there is no power, there is a collapse, the remnants must be saved."
