The number one issue facing the judiciary in Armenia is the overload of courts. This is what candidate for chairperson of the Court of Cassation of Armenia Lilit Tadevosyan said in response to a question from deputy of the opposition Bright Armenia Party Srbuhi Grigoryan during today’s discussion on Tadevosyan’s nomination.

“The process of making judicial reforms is a rather long process. I can’t imagine a time when we will be able to be at ease and declare that there is no need for judicial reforms,” she added.
