In response to a question from former deputy of the My Step faction of the National Assembly of Armenia Taguhi Tovmasyan, candidate for chairperson of the Court of Cassation Lilit Tadevosyan assured that she has never participated and is not going to participate in any political process.

According to her, she didn’t take part in the political processes that were unfolding in 2008 and isn’t preparing to take part in any process that is unfolding today. “Evidence of this is my past. I have only been involved in my profession and have performed my duties as part of the prosecution,” Tadevosyan stated.

Touching upon the criminal cases regarding the events that took place on March 1, 2008, the candidate stated that she has been assigned to ensure protection of the charge brought under the mentioned cases and, as a result of which she has been involved in the prosecution and has taken part in the inquest of the criminal cases concerned.
