YEREVAN. – Former manager on Food security and veterinary state agency Grisha Baghyan had told that dairy products of Ashtarak Kat company contain sodium higher than production norms and technologies allow.

Ashtarak Kat company manager Stepan Aslanyan did not reply to this announcement and had no idea what can be the base for such an announcement.

“I can announce that there is no sodium at all in Ashtarak kat products. Moreover, there is no official document to state the announcement on using sodium,” told Aslanyan.

However, the Ahtarak Kat manager wrote to the Ministry of Economy at that period to get clarifications, as the announcement was made by the official. According to the ministry, Armenia has no facility for sodium expertise, as it is not necessary, because the sodium expertise is not required by corresponding Armenian law.
