YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: In a closed session yesterday, the [parliamentary] Standing Committee on Foreign Relations gave a positive conclusion to the draft statement—circulated by MPs Taguhi Tovmasyan, Anna Grigoryan, and Vardan Atabekyan who have left [the majority] My Step [faction]—proposing to condemn Azerbaijan's policy of obstructing the return of military and civilians in captivity.

The authors [of this draft statement] claim that by holding the captives, Azerbaijan is politicizing the humanitarian process, delaying their return, violating the international obligations it has assumed, and should therefore deserve the harsh assessment and condemnation of the international community and human rights organizations.

By the way, according to our information, the pro-government MPs tried to own this initiative, but the authors did not agree. But they could not go against, as they do, in connection with other initiatives of the opposition, until the society would not realize.

It is a fact that more than 80 MPs of My Step, instead of dealing with post-war issues, are engaged in the fight against the opposition.
