YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: After the well-known announcement of the GS [General Staff of the Armed Forces] [demanding the resignation of PM Nikol Pashinyan and his government], the legislators of [the ruling] My Step [bloc] and the government worked 24 hours a day to find the formula by which the NA [National Assembly] will make constitutional amendments and they will return to the model of vertical governance of the army when the GS was subordinate to the Minister of Defense.

However, the only way to amendments in the Constitution’s chapter on the armed forces is the referendum, after which Nikol Pashinyan passed to his favorite occupation—blackmailing President Armen Sarkissian under the guise of going to see the sick. It is not yet known with what he shut the president's mouth this time.

It is noteworthy that My Step does not even have the resources to remove Armen Sarkissian from office, as 88 MPs' votes are required to start it.
