YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: There were tense and waiting moods at the [opposition] PAP [(Prosperous Armenia Party)] yesterday.
Upon learning from the press and [Lilit] Makunts, the leader of the [majority] My Step faction [in parliament], that a [PAP leader] Gagik Tsarukyan-[PM] Nikol Pashinyan meeting on the issue of snap [parliamentary] elections is expected, the [PAP] MPs were waiting for news from the "boss" whether he will sign the memorandum proposed by Pashinyan, or continue the fight with the HSM [the Homeland Salvation Movement, which demands Pashinyan’s resignation] in the street.
Yesterday, there were even rumors that Tsarukyan called the [PAP] MPs to a meeting and after that he will go to a meeting with Pashinyan. However, the meeting had not taken place, and the [PAP] MPs were informed that they would gather in the coming days.
