White House employees in the United States are no longer required to take COVID-19 tests daily, but once a week, Axios reported.
Such a decision may be associated with the vaccination of many people working in the White House.
White House spokesman Kevin Munoz noted that many other measures remain for employees to prevent COVID-19 infection.
In January, the inaugural administration of US President Joe Biden introduced a requirement for White House employees working alongside top officials to be tested daily for COVID-19 and to wear N95 respirators.
