President Joe Biden said New York Governor Andrew Cuomo should step down if an investigation confirms the charges against him, The Guardian reported.

"I think he’d probably end up being prosecuted, too," he noted. "It takes a lot of courage to come forward so the presumption is it should be taken seriously."

Biden added: "And it should be investigated, and that’s what’s under way now."

Cuomo is accused of sexually harassing several women, including several former employees. The latter accused Cuomo of harassment in the workplace, including demeaning them by nicknames of pets or remarks about their appearance, as well as unwanted kisses and touches and questions about their sex life.

The governor denies touching the women inappropriately.
