During Russian President Dmitry Medvedev’s visit to Ankara on May 11-12, a Memorandum on cooperation in construction and operation of NPP in Turkey will be signed, stated Russian Presidential Aide Sergei Prikhodko, RIA Novosti reports.
According to him, there is an agreement on purchase of certain amount of power at a guaranteed price with the Turkish Electricity Trading and Contracting Company (TETAS). Besides, Russian contractors pledge to finance the project, Turkish side will not be involved in financing.
On May 11-12, RF President Dmitry Medvedev pays an official visit to Turkey at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart Abdullah Gul.
