Religious classes will be held in Azerbaijani schools, the Chairman of the Caucasian Muslim Office Sheikh-al-Islam Allahshukur Pashazadeh said on Monday, Trend reports.

“We all have freedom of conscience. Sooner or later this issue will be solved. History of religion, its philosophy will be taught in secondary schools,” Trend quotes Allahshukur Pashazadeh.

According to him, getting religious education does not mean becoming mullahs in the future.
