On May 25, an international conference “Situation in Caucasus and prospects of regional security” will be held in Yerevan, organized by the Institute for the CIS countries and Armenian branch of the Institute. According to the director of the Institute, deputy of the RF State Duma Konstantin Zatulin, the conference is dedicated to the discussion of a new geopolitical reality in Caucasian region within the recent years, and analyses of the policy of South Caucasian countries, Russia, EC, U.S., Iran and Turkey in the region.

According to him, the issues related to the regional security, stability, integration and cooperation will be in focus. The prospects of the Armenia-Turkey normalization process and the developments of Karabakh peace process will be discussed as well.

The politicians, public figures and experts from Russia, South Caucasian countries, Iran and Turkey will attend the event.
