Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu held a phone conversation with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

The Anadolu news agency reports the officials discussed Iran’s nuclear program.

Premier Davutoglu informed his U.S. counterpart of his talks on exchange of uranium with Iran. The sides agreed to continue discussing Turkey’s mediation efforts.

The Turkish FM informed Mrs. Clinton of the organization of a meeting between Catherine Ashton, the High Representative of EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, and Saeed Jalili, Iran’s Chief Nuclear negotiator.

The sides also addressed other regional developments, including the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process, elections in Iraq, RF President’s visit to Turkey, etc.
