Turkey and Greece will hold the next round of bilateral talks aimed at resolving differences in the Mediterranean and other areas in Ankara on October 6, Reuters reported.

Greece and Turkey are at odds on issues such as claims to jurisdiction in the eastern Mediterranean, airspace, energy, occupied Cyprus and the status of islands in the Aegean Sea. In January, they agreed to resume negotiations after a five-year hiatus.

Since then, Ankara and Athens have held two rounds of talks, the previous one in Athens in March.

The 63rd round of consultative talks will take place in Ankara on October 6, 2021, the Turkish MFA said in a statement.
