Moscow expects response of Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents to proposals offered by Russian leader Dmitry Medvedev.

“It’s time to negotiate. We await their response,” reads the message left by Sergey Lavrov on Twitter account of Russian Foreign Ministry prior to his visit to U.S.

Russian Foreign Minister visited Armenia and Azerbaijan last Friday to convey Dmitry Medvedev’s proposals on Karabakh peace process to the countries’ leaders.

Sergey Lavrov will arrive in Washington on Monday to discuss certain issues, including recent Russia’s proposals on resolution of the Karabakh conflict.
