YEREVAN.- Armenia and Ukraine will closely cooperate on the parliamentary level to implement agreements reached by Presidents Serzh Sargsyan and Viktor Yanukovych, said Armenian leader.
During his meeting with Speaker of Ukraine’s parliament Vladimir Lytvyn, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan stressed it is the second meeting of officials over the recent two weeks which contributes to intensification of bilateral relations, presidential press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
President Sargsyan expressed hope that Ukrainian official’s visit to Armenia will give an impetus to development and expansion of bilateral ties.
Vladimir Lytvyn called his Armenian meetings effective stressing that emphasis was laid on active work of parliamentary groups and cooperation of parliamentary delegations in the international agencies.
