YEREVAN. – Complex management of borders allows comprehensive approach towards issues in all sectors including migration, trafficking, illegal drug turnover, trade simplification and free and secure border crossing, secretary of Armenian National Security Council Arthur Baghdasaryan told at the meeting with the coordinator of complex border management of South Caucasus Phillip Pears.

Pears presented Baghdasaryan the current process of the project and existing issues. He expressed his satisfaction with project implementation, Council’s press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Artur Baghdasaryan stressed the importance of upgrading the border infrastructures and equipments for complete realization of “one window” program, which will allow citizens to obtain all documents from one place.  

Pears told that an international consulting group will be established to provide professional and expert assistance on issues of border management.
