A magnitude 6.2 earthquake hit north-eastern Japan on Monday morning.
The quake epicenter was 94 km west of Fukushima prefecture at the 35 km in the Pacific, RFE/RL reports referring to U.S. Geological Survey. No tsunami warning was issued.
