YEREVAN. –Azerbaijani leader’s statement on Armenian people is not kind of statement pertaining to a head of state, let alone sane person, Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan told a joint press conference with Polish President in Yerevan, commenting on Aliyev’s recent statement.

“Three presidential election campaigns were held in Nagorno-Karabakh and all the three presidents were elected by the people. None of them inherited power and therefore the elected authorities of Nagorno-Karabakh cannot afford to make offensive statements, unlike the authorities of the neighboring state, who, speaking plainly, cannot hide their hatred. People filled with poison are unable to make right decisions. In this context, the assistance of European agencies to Karabakh is a necessity,” Sargsyan emphasized.
