A delegation led by Greek Deputy Minister of National Defence, Nikolaos Chardalias, will arrive in Armenia, according to the Armenian Embassy in Greece.

"At the invitation of my colleague Karen Brutyan [Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic Armenia (RA)], I will be in Armenia—on June 2 and 3—which has strong historical ties of friendship and cooperation with Greece. Within the framework of the visit, I will have official meetings with RA Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan, RA Minister of High-Tech Industry Robert Khachatryan, and my colleague Karen Brutyan," Chardalias wrote on Facebook, adding that meetings are planned also with Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, as well as with representatives of the Greek community in Armenia.

Greek deputy defense minister Nikolaos Chardalias will also visit the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan.

Visits to the Vazgen Sargsyan Military University as well as the National Defense Research University are also planned.
