YEREVAN. - President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan will leave for U.S. on Thursday to attend the debates held within the framework of 66th UN General Assembly session.
Armenian leader will deliver a speech and hold a meeting with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
He will also attend festive events dedicated to 20th anniversary of Armenia’s Independence held in New York and Los Angeles. Serzh Sargsyan will also participate in the opening ceremony of a new building of Armenia’s consulate in Los Angeles.
On September 27, President Sargsyan will arrive on an official visit to France where he will meet with country’s top officials. He will attend the concert of Charles Aznavour dedicated to 20th anniversary of Armenia’s Independence.
Later on he will leave for Poland to attend the EU Eastern Partnership summit.
