YEREVAN. – In its letter to Public Relations Committee of Armenia’s National Assembly, Zhoghovurd daily asked the Committee to present the list of parliamentary business trips made in 2011, the daily writes.    

“After its examination it became clear that, in the past 11 months, approximately a dozen MPs have gone on almost the same number of business trips abroad.   

In order to head for a European country, Armenian state budget allocates an average of approximately 3,000 Euros as one-direction travel expenditures, which include daily allowance and accommodation. Yet the MPs continue to complain that the ministers live more luxuriously abroad at government’s expense, and demand that their daily allowance be raised,” Zhoghovurd writes.
