France names new OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair

It has become apparent that Jacques Faure will replace Bernard Fassier as the OSCE (Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe) Minsk Group’s French Co-Chair. 

The Co-Chairs will pay their regular visit to the region, at the end of this month, and this visit will be Bernard Fassier’s final visit in his capacity as the Minsk Group’s French Co-Chair.     

Prior to his appointment, Jacques Faure worked as France’s Ambassador to Ukraine. The French diplomat also speaks English, German, and Russian.
