YEREVAN.- The average US dollar exchange rate made AMD 383.2/$1 on NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange, Thursday.

US dollar went down by 0.47% as compared with Wednesday – one of the sharpest declines over 2011. Sales totaled $4 million.

By the end of the trading session demand for dollar increased, which wrecks hope that this rate of decline will continue. However, decline in dollar rate is inevitable on New Year’s Eve.

Exchange offices purchase US dollar at the rate of AMD381-382/$1 and sell at least AMD 384/$1. Banks consider likely that this week’s trade will close on a wave of US dollar growth.
