Los-Angeles court on Thursday postponed the hearings for the case of Armenian man charged with fatally shooting his cousin and dumping her body on a highway. The hearing was rescheduled for January 12.

27-year-old Aram Sarukhanyan is accused of murdering his cousin Adrine Arzumanyan by firing at the chest then pushing the body out of the car onto the highway, Glendale News-Press reported.

A few minutes later Sarukhanyan shot himself in the chin. He was treated at a hospital and then transferred to the police.
